Great stay in Insadong!

Great location right off the subway station. Quiet location. Within walking distance to all the tourist things in insadong and iksudong. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Has a cool common space with full access to the kitchen (if that’s your thing). Room/bed was very clean, cozy and comfortable! Hot water turned on very fast, basic things like a hair dryer and towels were provided. A big step up from your typical hostel- this is great if you want your own space/privacy. There’s also a convenience store right around the corner.

The staff informed me that I may see mold in the bathroom, however, it was very very clean compared to my own apartment and other Korean hostels. My bathroom was a nice size and there was just a tiny spot that was barely visible. It wasn’t gross in any way if that makes sense? No complaints about this property!

It was the perfect room for a budget friendly solo travel.

I appreciate their fine thinking on various details like the areas of plug points, yellow lighting, hot packs for winter and ear plugs for better sleep.

The sound proofing of the rooms are bad.

Hostel with hotel amenities

I LOVED the free laundry, shampoo, toothbrush etc…everything you have in a hotel u have in this hostel. It was clean, the customer service was fantastic, and the value was unbeatable…3 nights over chuseok break for $100 is extraordinary. This is probably the best value hostel in Seoul…I’m sure there are other ones that are nicer but this IMO is the best value hostel in Seoul.

The only things I didn’t like was that it was slightly creepy walking through the alley at night because it wasn’t well lit until you got to the hostel. Also some construction/landscaping noise during the daytime was a little irritating but also if you’re out during the daytime it doesn’t really affect you because it stopped at night.

Very Good

It's a hostel that opened after remodeling an old building. It's not a very modern and sophisticated place, but there are few places in Seoul where you can stay at such a low price. The size of the room is enough for two people or alone. There's also everything you might need : towel, dryer, shampoo, body wash, refrigerator and air-conditioner

There's nothing particular to nitpick about. Everything is enough for this price.

Small, simple, sclean

It was really nice. I liked the bathroom size and that there was a fridge. The self check in was great too because I wasn’t flooded with questions when I walked in. It’s located in a busy area, but it was quiet.

Lots of reviews already mentioned this, but the room was small. My friends and I didn’t mind, but a separate space to separate our shoes would have been nice.

Best hostel in Seoul

Best place I've ever stayed at in Seoul! The rooms are small but everything was sparkling clean. The sheets were white and had that fresh washed hotel smell/feel, which you almost NEVER get in budget hostels. The location is steps away from the subway station, with restaurants and stores all within a minute walk. Breakfast is simple (like all breakfasts at hostels in Seoul), but is complete enough to start off your day. I will definitely return here. Thank you!
